Cecilia Oteiza Ayres
Cecilia has worked in a variety of industries including hospitality, tourism, performing arts, and most recently as a recruiter for one of Edmonton’s top executive search firms. She has a wealth of experience in administrative operations, customer service, and project management. Her passion and commitment to community building led her to join the board of her community league where she has served on a variety of roles for the past four years. Most recently she has become a member of the Edmonton Federation of Community League's Community Inclusion Committee. She currently works at the JR Shaw School of Business at NAIT where she uses her creative approach and business savvy to advance the interests of the students and the institution.

The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) conference in Edmonton from May 28-30 was phenomenal. The thoughtful planning provided participants with a rich learning environment. The program and set-up allowed people engage in meaningful conversations and make connections with others. This kind of learning environment let me explore how this subject touches all aspects of my life. At the end of the conference I could easily see myself applying it to my volunteer work, professional life and especially in my personal life.
