John Robinson
Professor Robinson has a global reputation in the areas of urban sustainability, building sustainability, community engagement processes, and university sustainability programming. From 1992-2015 he was professor with the Institute for Resources, Environment & Sustainability, and the Department of Geography at The University of British Columbia (UBC). From 2012-15, he was Associate Provost, Sustainability, at UBC. He is currently an Adjunct Professor with the Copenhagen Business School, where he is leading the sustainability component of their campus redevelopment process.
Earlier this Fall, academic researchers and professionals in government, business, and environmental organizations came together to explore the potential for creating FutureTalks – a large-scale community engagement program on urban sustainability and climate change issues.
