Emma Loucks is a 4th-year Recreation Therapy student at Brock University. In Winter 2026, Emma was enrolled in a ‘Program Evaluation in Recreation’ course taught by Dr. Corliss Bean. This blog was written as part of her coursework in this class. Emma is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities and has done so in various capacities, bringing lived experience of disability to the profession. She hopes to continue her support and advocacy work through her own business in the coming years.
