notebook-2314094_1280.jpgThe Robert R. McCormick Foundation has recently published this very useful Program Evaluation Guide

It includes sections including a general description about evaluation, why evaluate and how to evaluate.  In a series of seven questions - the guide walks users through what they want to evaluate, the purpose of the evaluation, the type of evaluation to use, the data needed to answer the questions, strategies for gathering and anlaysing the data and a section about how to use and share results.

The Program Evaluation Guide also contains a section on cultural awareness and responsiveness, something that may be missed in other program evaluation guides but very relevant to evaluating programs providing services and supports to newcomer and marginalized populations.
