Raïsa is Associate Director of Community Innovation Fund- Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF) and a Consulting Director at Tamarack Institute's Learning Center with a focus on Community Innovation & Engagement.
She is a human centered designer, researcher, facilitator and socially engaged artist with experience implementing and co-creating participatory systems strengthening programs in over 20 countries in a variety of sectors and roles supporting the Sustainable Development Goals. In her work, she brings a behavioural sciences lens to support sustainable innovations through experimentation. Her previous roles have often straddled participatory research and co-creation, capacity building of leaders in communities and governments, impact measurement, storytelling, partnership building and knowledge mobilization.
Raïsa holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development & Environment from McGill University in Montreal, and did graduate studies in Geography at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She currently lives by the ocean in rural Newfoundland with her giant rescue dog Bruce.
