We draw upon over 20 years of experience leading community change and advancing practice to support municipalities, funders, non-profits, and community leaders through on-demand learning, coaching and consulting, and in-person, hybrid and online events, workshops and webinars.

Online Courses

Learn at your own pace – Our courses are offered asynchronously, meaning that you can move through the prepared course materials on whatever schedule works for you.

Plan your own learning – We've planned out the main lessons for you in each course, and prepared a wide range of videos, readings, and case studies that will help you build your social changemaker toolkit in each area. Navigate the course in whichever order works best for you and your needs

Get involved – Add your thoughts, questions, and comments on the online learning platform,  interact with other learners, and join course instructors to get more personalized feedback and insights along your journey.

Events, Workshops & Gatherings

Single-day Workshops & Multi-day Gatherings – We cover a range of topics within our Idea and Practice areas. The format for each engagement is independently developed by the curriculum team, built upon learning models that are core to all Tamarack learning events:

  • The Learning Community – The intentional gathering together to get a sense of the "common".
  • Learning Labs –  Small group dialogues designed to turn answers into questions with the understanding that every learner is a teacher and every teacher is a learner
  • Practical Tools – Our practitioners share tools that you can take home and use right away in your community

Webinars

Tamarack hosts a number of free webinars throughout the year featuring the latest ideas and thought-leaders from the field of community change. By registering for a webinar, you can participate live or gain access to the recording and presentation slides and resources after the broadcast.
