Neighbourhood Strategy course

Online Course

foundations for building a neighbourhood strategy

This foundational course will walk you through 6 modules that will help you to define your reason, build the case for a plan and think about the development of the strategy. The course brings Collective Impact and Asset-Based Community Development together to focus on building a plan with residents at the centre.

For individuals to thrive, to feel at home in their communities, to feel welcomed and accepted in the places they frequent, and to be mentally strong and happy, we need belonging. We need to support people to build the social infrastructure, associations, and strategies that are at the heart of well-being in communities.

National Belonging Strategy: a pan-Canadian movement to celebrate communities' gifts and aspirations and co-create a strategy that mobilizes all sectors for action. Learn more

Communities of Practice

Our Communities of Practices (CoPs) are small, interactive groups of practitioners who connect virtually monthly or bi-monthly to share experiences, tools, ideas and challenges in order to learn ways they can grow and expand their work.
