Tamarack’s Board of Directors members have been key partners in stewarding the organization forward since 2001. They have provided strategic guidance, proven leadership and wisdom as the organization grew and evolved

Tamarack currently has three vacancies for new Board of Directors members who 
begin in April 2022. See below for information about Tamarack, our Board, and some key skills and attributes we are currently seeking for these three openings. 

 

The Board of Directors is the legal and fiscal authority for Tamarack Institute. As a member of the Board, a director acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective direction of the organization. The responsibilities of the Board member are to oversee and to represent the Board when required.

Liz is passionate about the power and potential of communities getting to impact on complex issues. Liz is Tamarack’s Co-CEO and Director, Learning Centre. In this role she provides strategic direction to the organization and leads many of its key learning activities including collective impact capacity building services for the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Liz is one of Tamarack's highly regarded trainers and has developed and delivered curriculum on a variety of workshop topics including collaborative governance, leadership, collective impact, community innovation, influencing policy change and social media for impact and engagement.
