Below you will find reflections and examples from the first 20 months of implementing the Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF)initiative at Tamarack Institute in collaboration with communities across Canada.
Millennials and Gen Z have proven that they are passionate about both social justice and meaningful careers that have an impact, making them a seemingly perfect fit for the nonprofit sector. But with most nonprofits still heavily dependent on Baby Boomers for their donations and volunteers, are they ignoring this segment of highly engaged young people? This panel will highlight successful strategies that nonprofits are using to connect with young people and build pipelines for future donors, volunteers, employees, and leaders.
