Nestled within the Peel region, a unique grantmaking initiative unfolded as the Tamarack Institute embarked on a transformative mission. This project meaningfully engaged local wisdom and was co-created by the Peel community.   

Drawing upon her experiences as a second-generation immigrant in this thriving community, Karenveer Pannu eagerly embraced the opportunity to support this project. Armed with insights from her work as a community organizer, she was eager to join a project that challenged traditional funding norms.
