Financial Inclusion

Community of Practice

Next Meeting: March 25, 12:00-2:00 p.m. ET

Topic: Starting With Ourselves: Our Relationship to Money

Our Community of Practice at a Glance

Join Tamarack’s Financial Inclusion Community of Practice and be part of a collaborative innovation journey exploring how we can build fairer, more inclusive financial systems. Together, we’ll move from personal reflection to systems inquiry to bold idea generation - unpacking power, policy, lived experience, and emerging practices along the way. This is an engaging, participatory space shaped by the wisdom of the group, designed for those who are curious, experienced, or simply passionate about advancing financial inclusion in their communities. Together, we will explore what financial inclusion truly means - at a human level and within the broader systems that shape access, opportunity, and power. If you’re ready to think deeply, learn collectively, and co-design new possibilities, we invite you to join us.

What to expect:

  • Monthly 2-hour virtual sessions (March - October)

  • Interactive innovation exercises

  • Systems mapping and structured sensemaking

  • Cross-border peer exchange (Canada & U.S.)

  • Small-group dialogue and collaborative inquiry

  • A space grounded in curiosity, equity, and participation

We are seeking individuals who can commit to attending most sessions and actively engaging.

Our LEARNING ARC

Our sessions will follow an innovation arc that guides both the structure and progression of our learning. We’ll begin by reflecting on our own relationship to money and how lived experience shapes our perspectives. From there, we’ll expand outward — mapping systems, examining institutional dynamics, identifying patterns and leverage points, and ultimately generating bold possibilities for change.
