About Jaime

Jaime supports planning, reporting, and overall digital marketing and communications for Tamarack.

Before joining Tamarack, Jaime wrote, edited, marketed, and oversaw production of resources to help Canada’s public health sector take action on unfair circumstances that lead to negative health outcomes. Her editorial background spans books, encyclopedias, magazines, grey literature, grant proposals, policy briefs, and social content. She has also developed and executed successful marketing strategies in the public and private sectors.

Jaime has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Sociology from York University and a Masters in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, where her areas of research were postmodern advertising theory, urban sociology, and research methodology. She also completed a Certificate in Digital Marketing Management from Sheridan College, focusing on website design, digital strategy, and social media content development.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, cycling, walking, and hiking year round, as well as traveling anywhere with mountains. She loves art, writing, collaboration, and social justice and is thrilled to work in a field where all four collide.
