where do your generous donations go?

A gift to Tamarack is a donation for true, sustainable change.

We support communities and changemakers with resources, support, coaching, and funds to advance collective impact. You may choose from the following areas as to where you’d like your generous support to go:

Be a Light Fund

Scholarships for Equity-Deserving Learners

The Be A Light Fund was created to help those with incredible potential but with limited budgets. Features include personalized coaching and free event access for changemakers facing barriers to participation. Supporting the Be a Light Fund allows us to include all voices in the conversation and allows us to achieve a richer, fuller understanding of the challenge at hand.

Paul Born Scholarships

For Lived Experience Experts

A portion of our Be A Light Fund is named after Tamarack's Founder Paul Born. This scholarship supports centring the voices of lived experience experts as well as those who are new in their careers. Personalized coaching and free event access are also at the core of this scholarship.

General support

Igniting and supporting community change efforts

A general fund to sustain and grow our community change efforts. Your generosity fuels our resource building, learning support, and community engagement. Join us in fostering impact and supporting Canadian communities!

Personalized Coaching

Personalized session with a
community consultant

Your contribution could go to supporting personalized coaching and consulting sessions, in which Tamarack team members walk hand-in-hand with aspiring changemakers to make a community impact.

Event Access

Events that foster participant engagement

We carefully create community-building events, hosting diverse knowledge holders and dedicated changemakers. Sponsoring a Tamarack-wide event allows us to continue to offer barrier-free registration fees for those who qualify as well as continue to support communities hosting in-person meet-ups as part of virtual events.

Resources and Tools

Available to all who wish to learn and
participate

We believe in high-quality, open-source resources. We co-create tools, webinars, guides, and educational materials, supporting informed and practical decisions and actions. A gift can build upon the ongoing development of new tools or help us create something missing in the changemaker toolkit.
