Ce guide vous accompagnera à travers les engagements pris par Tamarack concernant notre propre reconnaissance des terres, tout en guidant nos membres, nos apprenant.e.s et nos partenaires dans la réflexion et dans la création de leurs propres reconnaissance des terres.

La reconnaissance des terres ainsi que les déclarations de réflexion personnelle sont une occasion pour nous, en tant qu'individu.e.s et en tant que membres de la communauté Tamarack, d'affirmer notre engagement envers l'histoire, les promesses et la résolution des problèmes entourant le processus de vérité et de réconciliation.

La pratique de la réflexion et de la reconnaissance représente pour chacun.e de nous une opportunité d'en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire de l'île de la Tortue et les rôles que nous jouons dans le colonialisme, le racisme et l'injustice, ainsi que leurs implications dans le contexte contemporain. Elle nous offre également l'occasion de réfléchir à la manière dont nous pouvons utiliser notre pouvoir institutionnel pour faire avancer la réconciliation et mettre en lumière les injustices historiques.
