Michelle Drake and Darren Kropf discuss the development of Kitchener’s first Neighbourhood Strategy and how the City will support resident-led initiatives in the future. A lot of work has gone into the making of the strategy, including a large - and rather unconventional - community engagement process to ensure residents’ input shaped the strategy from the very beginning.

Connor is passionate about social injustices and the harmful effects they have on communities’ health. He is currently pursuing a BSc in Health Studies with a Minor in Political Science. Outside of school and work, Connor is a member of the Applied Health Sciences’ Federation Orientation Committee. This committee oversees the planning of the Applied Health Sciences Orientation Week for incoming students in Fall 2017. He is very eager to contribute to the Deepening Community Team and to the Tamarack Institute.
