Kieran Maingot (they/them) is a community animator supporting Tamarack’s financial sustainability and long-term funding strategy. As a self-proclaimed “forever student,” Kieran’s curiosity and passion for learning have pushed them to animate various avenues for social change. Through their education, work, volunteering, and community organizing experiences, Kieran has always found a deep interest in exploring how the skillful deployment of resources can unlock new possibilities for communities and the organizations that support them.
Most recently, after receiving a BA in sociology from Western University, Kieran graduated from Carleton University with a Master's in Philanthropy and Non-profit Leadership. Having focused much of their studies on the nexus between community and organizations, with a focus on equity, justice, and power, Kieran is excited to bring a multi-faceted fundraising perspective to the organization’s sustainability strategy.
