They start with the partner organization’s board and staff leader’s role - from fostering an enabling culture and recruiting the right competencies to ensuring proper assessment, risk management and policies are in place.

This webinar is for consultants and capacity builders working with organizational leaders and with collaborators. You’ll hear about a free resource, The Collaborative Organization, co-created by Tamarack Institute and Ignite NPS. Participants will learn how you can support your clients to be more successful collaborators by implementing four critical strategies.

Sylvia Cheuy. Consulting Director of Collaboration, Tamarack Institute.

She has spent more than 20 years as a changemaker and champion of multi-sector, citizen-led change efforts.  She is inspired by the capacity of communities to innovate and advance creative solutions to their most pressing issues.

Sylvia is a skilled and seasoned community change facilitator whose work has included designing and delivering capacity-building sessions, both in person and virtually, to clients across North America as well as in Singapore, New Zealand, and the UK.  She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and completed her Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation at the University of Waterloo in 2013 where she explored opportunities to create change within regional food systems. 

Linda Mollenhauer. Chair, Ignite NPS

She co-created and funded the Reimagining Governance Lab with the Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN) and The Collaborative Organization with the Tamarack Institute. Linda led a consulting practice for over 20 years working with funders and non-profit organizations. In collaboration with others, she has published resources, such as Trends and Forces Reshaping Nonprofit Organizations; Board Oversight of Not-for-Profit Collaboration (CPA); Benchmarks of Excellence for the Voluntary Sector; A Framework for Success for Nonprofit Federations; and Collaboration Coach. Prior to her consulting practice, she was CEO of Imagine Canada and was director of its national social marketing campaign encouraging giving and volunteering. She has a master’s degree in communications from Boston University.
