Celebrating Volunteer Leaders

Last week, Tamarack Institute's board of directors spent two days, virtually, enabling the conditions for community-led systems change. Our board members (past and present) are;

🪴unequivocally committed to an equitable future.

🪴deeply creative and insightful about what’s needed to seed it.

🪴reliably stepping into the work of moving toward it.

🪴joyful, optimistic, and committed to building community.

It was fitting, perhaps, that it was National Volunteer Week. These volunteer leaders are continually evolving how we enable everyone’s contributions. They give grace and move on when – inequitably - little things go wrong. They are amazing partners to me, so many of my colleagues, and countless others in the many ecosystems developing to create transformational results.

Looking forward to sharing, two outputs from our time together - our reflection on learnings and impact last year (via our annual report) and our projection for what’s some of what’s ahead (via Seeds of Transformation: A Loving Framework for Equity, Belonging and Reconciliation).
