How can nonprofits innovate in the face of major societal challenges? How can we inspire and foster deep community connections and community engagement in a world that is becoming more and more disconnected in so many ways?

The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly impacted nonprofit organizations and collaborations. Before the pandemic, the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) hosted annual in-person conferences across the province, a common practice for many associations.

In this Idea to Impact Case Story written by Chantel Doerksen and Liz Weaver, discover how SPRA reimagined their annual event, resulting in over 60% of attendees feeling assisted in building and strengthening connections with peers.
