We're thrilled to announce the launch of our revamped website and brand refresh alongside our learning networks! This milestone marks an exciting new chapter in the Tamarack story.

The Website Redesign

Our website's redesign and rebranding are a celebration of connection, inclusion, and sustainable strategies, driving our mission to end poverty in all its forms. Through this visual identity update, we reinforce our commitment to fostering vibrant communities founded on collaboration and positive change.

Our update is so much more than visual. In November 2023, the Tamarack team and Board members met in person, to clarify and prioritize our 2030 goals, guiding principles and commitments. The rebrand embodies our principles of connection, belonging, equity and justice. Our new website design will be a vector in achieving our goals of nurturing the capacity of changemakers, driving large-scale change in communities and shifting systems and policies to end poverty across Turtle Island.

Listening to Our Members and Learners

Listening to our members and learners, we've prioritized inclusion and simplicity in our website's design and language. This includes not only the functionality and navigation but also a shift towards more accessible and approachable language. We recognize the diverse language used by those in our network and aim to bridge these gaps by, for instance, transitioning from "Collective Impact" to "Collaboration" and "Collaborative Leadership" to "Collective Leadership."

Committed to cohesion and accessibility, we've also updated terminology across our online presence to reflect this externally. One example is our transition from using "Learning Centre" to describe our interconnected practices framework to "Skills for Change" and "Vibrant Communities" to "Networks for Change". The goal is to simplify our messaging and enhance clarity for our members, learners, and the communities we work with and for.

Images of Our Network

The website photography plays an important role in conveying the Tamarack story and highlighting the people and places impacted by our work, and the communities that make all our work possible. Through these images, we want to show the strength of the communities we serve.

Our commitment to community still holds true in this new website refresh. Whether you are a long-time member or someone new to our network, navigating through our new website will be a user-friendly experience, offering access to resources, events, and more learning opportunities and connections.
