Our 2017 learning agenda has come to a close for the year, and we are taking a pause to refresh our community of practice meetings. Please sign up and more details will be sent to you soon regarding calls in 2018.
This community of practice meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month. The group meetings are for individuals who are or are working with large populations of Indigenous people on poverty reduction, and are interested in sharing best practice information on programming or engagement strategies for Indigenous populations; would like to co-develop materials or presentations to teach and engage peers across local regions and throughout the national network; and who are interested in working through a collective impact lens.
By joining this unique community of practice you will be able to share your experiences and knowledge in free-flowing and creative ways with other professionals who are working on similar challenges or issues. By engaging in facilitated conversations with your peers, you will uncover new approaches to problems, build your professional skill set, access new ideas and contribute to the transfer of best practices.
If you have questions and/or woudl like to volunteer to lead a discussion in one of our upcoming sessions, please reach out to Natasha at natasha@tamarackcommunity.ca or our Chair, Pamela Beebe at pamela@vibrantcalgary.com.
In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth we honour and acknowledge that our work occurs across Turtle Island (North America), which has been home since time immemorial to the ancestors of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples.
