The purpose of the City Convenor Community of Practice (CoP) is to bring together committed members of the Cities Reducing Poverty nework with Vibrant Communities Canada staff every month to share presentations, information, and updates that are aimed at strengthening our members' local poverty reduction efforts. Membership in the CoP is restricted to only include individuals who are affiliated with a local poverty reduction roundtable or initiative that is a committed member of the Cities Reducing Poverty network. If you're not sure about your eligibility to join this CoP please email alison@tamarackcommunity.ca.
Cities Reducing Poverty members (i.e. convenors) have exclusive access to these monthly learning calls hosted by Vibrant Communities Canada staff. Members are committed to sharing ideas and information about their local poverty reduction efforts in a supportive peer learning network and to contributing to our collective knowledge of best practices for poverty reduction.
The City Convenor Community of Practice is comprised of individuals who belong to local poverty reduction roundtables or municipally-led poverty reduction initiatives that have purchased an organizational membership to belong to the Cities Reducing Poverty network.
