Summer is in full swing! There's no better time than now to slow down, think about your priorities, and focus on your professional development plans for the next six months.
Join us for one of our many workshop offerings throughout the summer and fall, including our annual two-day event, EngageFest! As always, our online courses are a popular summer option and offer the opportunity to learn at your own pace.
This interactive session focuses on the core leadership competency of trust-building, back by popular demand for one final session before Liz Weaver's retirement this fall.
Collaborative success requires the engagement and commitment of partners to the common cause. Participants in this workshop will walk away with ideas, tools, and approaches to effectively engage diverse community partners and intentionally build trusting relationships and collaborative impact. Come prepared to share your experiences and insights on how to build trust.
This workshop is designed for those who are:
Conveners or facilitators of collaborative tables where building trust is an imperative
Individuals who are members of organizational or collaborative teams seeking to build trust within their teams
Individuals or teams experiencing broken trust and who would like to work better together
Individuals or teams who are intrigued by the idea of trust and are seeking practical approaches to build trust
Evaluation is a key component of engaging in changemaking work. This workshop, led by Dr. Chúk Odenigbo (PhD), Consulting Director of Impact Evaluation, offers participants an introduction to evaluation. We will be going over what evaluation is, the basic steps and best practice when conducting evaluation, and learnings on community engagement and how to ensure that, when we do this work, we centre equity.
This workshop is designed for those who:
Are looking to get started with evaluating the impact of their community work
Are already doing evaluation work but would like to build a stronger foundation in evaluation
Are noticing a lack of engagement when doing evaluation and looking to strategize how to increase participation
Are from diverse communities but are not engaging the full diversity of their community

Participants will learn about the seven steps to craft compelling stories, which highlight their collaborative’s successes and progress. Attendees will also be guided on how to craft their collaboration’s impact story in a way that will help attract and retain funders and partners.
This workshop is designed for those who are:
Implementing a collaborative project and want to better understand their impact
Playing a lead communications role on behalf of a collaboration
Guiding a collaborative project through a phase of renewal
Wondering about the sustainability of their collaboration and how to plan for it
