Pooja is a Community Animator with Tamarack Institute’s Collective Impact Idea Area. She brings a passion for lifelong learning to her role as well as a drive to support and empower people and community.
She is highly adaptive and comfortable in diverse environments having worked in the private, non-profit, government, startup and environmental sectors, gleaning important lessons from each space. This experience combined with studies in Social Work and Cultural Anthropology have provided her with valuable skills such as fostering a culturally relative understanding of diverse groups, active listening, facilitation, program administration, and relationship building.
In her spare time, Pooja loves messing around in the kitchen, talking to her plants, taking on new perspectives, daydreaming and nurturing the diverse relationships she’s had the honour of developing over the years.
She appreciates the value of sharing good food (and wine!), trading experiences over a cup of tea, and relishing in life’s simple pleasures.
