WEBINAR | Assessing the Effects of Local Intersectoral Action: A New Online Tool

Evaluating Community Impact, Webinars and Videos, Evaluation, Pamela Teitelbaum

What lessons can we derive from a multi-year research and evaluation process focused on understanding the impact of local intersectoral actions in addressing complex social change? What are practical and effective ways to assess collective actions to address issues like poverty at the neighbourhood level?

In this Webinar, Pamela Teitelbaum, Tamarack’s Director of Evaluating Impact will host Prof. Angèle Bilodeau, from the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal, Marie-Pier St-Louis and Gillian Kranias, Consultants for the Canada Research Chair in Community Approaches and Health Inequalities (CACIS) to present the newly launched English version of the online Tool for Assessing the Effects of Local Intersectoral Action (originally produced in French) in partnership with the Tamarack Institute.

This practical online tool uses timeline mapping and offers ways to monitor progression of local intersectoral actions using participatory approaches to produce chains of transitional outcomes to understand how the efforts contribute to changes within the neighbourhoods themselves.
