WEBINAR | Ending Poverty: Making Basic Income Feasible in Canada

Written by Tamarack Institute | March 13, 2020

A new report from the Basic Income Network Canada uses Statistics Canada data to prove that Basic Income is no longer a theoretical debate but a feasible strategy for Canadian governments to reduce poverty by 95%.

Authors of the report, Sheila Regehr and Chandra Pasma along with Tom Cooper joined us in a webinar discussion about policy options, implications for governments and citizens, and recommendations on how community organizers and governments can use this new information to advocate for a Basic Income.
