The Tamarack Institute is a connected force for community change. We work with leaders in non-profits, governments, businesses and the community to make work of advancing positive community change easier and more effective. We do this by teaching and writing about collective impact, community engagement, collaborative leadership, community development, and evaluating community impact. We host two learning communities Cities Reducing Poverty and Cities Deepening Community turning theory into action.

This workshop will gather together Canada’s premier community development leaders and neighbourhood practitioners to explore the impact of Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and leading neighbourhood and community revitalizing strategies. We have brought together several of the world’s top authors and practitioners in the field.
Together we will explore how communities are strengthening social connectedness, combatting loneliness, and citizen disengagement. This year we also want to explore the Citizen role in climate change and to hear from an Indigenous thought leader about the community.
