ARTICLE | Building Collaborative Communities

Written by Scott London | August 7, 2015
This article explores the idea around collaboration and how it is carried out by individuals, groups and organizations in the public sphere as a powerful alternative to conventional mechanisms for effecting change, such as coalitions, task forces, and commissions.. This form of collaboration can be described as a process of shared decision-making in which all the parties with a stake in a problem constructively explore their differences and develop a joint strategy for action.
