At the main intersection in this close knit neighbourhood, one resident drew a large heart with the words: this too shall pass, written inside of it. Kids who would normally be playing together are drawing pictures and leaving encouraging words on their driveways for each other.   **Take your Learning Further** - Learn more about [Canoe B.C's Chalk the Town](https://www.saobserver.net/community/shuswap-residents-use-art-to-lift-neighbours-spirits-amid-covid-19-crisis/) - View more [community building stories and ideas sent in by Tamarack Institute members in response to COVID-19](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/en-ca/covid-19-community-building?hsLang=en-us) Topics: [Community Building](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/latest/topic/community-building), [Blog](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/latest/topic/blog), [Cities Deepening Community](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/latest/topic/cities-deepening-community) ![the Tamarack Institute](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/hubfs/Screen_Shot_2016-05-26_at_4.54.16_PM.png) ### By [the Tamarack Institute](https://www.tamarackcommunity.ca/latest/author/tamarack-institute) The Tamarack Institute is a connected force of more than 40,000 engaged practitioners and policymakers who work collaboratively to advance positive community change.
