Sara Russell
Sara R. is an undergraduate student in therapeutic recreation at Brock University. Sara was enrolled in a ‘Program Evaluation in Recreation’ course taught by Dr. Corliss Bean. This blog was written as part of her coursework in this class. Her academic interests include program evaluation, recreation participation, and community integration. She has experience working in a camp setting with children and youth with disabilities, which has shaped her interest in inclusive and accessible programming. Sara hopes to pursue a career in community-based recreation after graduation, using evaluation to strengthen programs and better support diverse populations.
