Marilyn Moffat
I am originally from Toronto, studied International Development and Rural Extension from Guelph University. My creative outlets include stained glass, quilting, and sewing. I lived in Montreal for most of my life, until I left for an adventure on Quebec's Lower North Shore. I have found the community development job I have always wanted, working to engage youth. As the Youth Engagement Coordinator in a remote and isolated part of Quebec where travel is by air, boat, or skidoo, these challenges add to the charm of the area. The Lower North Shore has captivated me by its beauty as I love to hike, snowshoe, and to explore. Tamarack has become an important part of my community development process. I feel part of a wonderful supportive community that connects people from across Canada and internationally.
