About Jessica

Jessica works on Special Projects at the Tamarack Institute with a focus on Vibrant Communities’ two practice areas, Cities Reducing Poverty and Cities Deepening Community. She brings to this role a deep commitment to purpose-driven work and is delighted to be immersed in the learning-centred community at Tamarack.

Jessica’s career to date has focused on embedding environmental sustainability within business through operational best practices, network-building and innovation development. Her previous experience in consulting, program delivery and teaching in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors positions her well to provide exceptional support to Vibrant Communities members. The breadth of her experience to date has enabled Jessica to hone her skills in partnerships and strategy development and establish a reputation as an effective relationship manager.

Jessica has a Masters degree in Applied Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and has lived and travelled internationally. She enjoys teaching group fitness classes and is an advocate for living an active, ‘green’ lifestyle.
