Looking back on the past year, our staff have been immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with you to help make our communities stronger and more resilient.

Communities Ending Poverty
In 2021, Communities Ending Poverty (CEP) collaboratively shifted their sights from reducing poverty to ending it.
Their year-end overview features the tremendous success of the first virtual gathering, the launch of a new online course, the growth of the CEP movement in BC, and successes documented in their five-year impact report.
One of our bilingual teams, Communities Building Youth Futures (CBYF), joined the Vibrant Communities network in 2020. CBYF communities have been mobilizing alongside youth to improve education and employment outcomes.
CBYF has done a lot of work to amplify youth voices and elevate youth leadership. Check out the Seeing Youth Futures Photo Contest 2021 to see an arts-based approach to community change.
CBYF also hosted a national gathering in May, and you can find some of the resources for that event here.
