Updates on Our Equity Work

We wanted to give the following updates about the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Justice, and Reconciliation (EDIJR) engagement opportunities we previously contacted you about:

• The focus group places are now full – thank you for all who have offered to participate
• The survey is now closed, though our French-language survey will remain open until September 29, 2023.
• The outcomes of our learnings from the equity audit will be published on the Tamarack website in Spring 2024.

Job Opportunities

We have two exciting roles for which we are actively recruiting and would like to invite you to bring your EDIJR gifts and knowledge or share within your networks. 

• Associate Director, Communities Building Belonging - In this position, you will advance belonging as an outcome and an area of systems change by developing tools, resources, and events as you support members of local place-based collaboratives who work collaboratively while leading a small team. Applications close on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This is a full-time 40-hour per week position and compensation is rated between $75,000 and $100,000 a year. 
• Manager of Communities, Vibrant Communities - As a Manager of Communities, you will provide ongoing engagement and coaching to local community members while contributing to write and develop tools and resources to inspire collective action. You will also be involved in planning and organizing events including communities or practices, webinars and national events. Thank you again for learning with us. Applications close on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This is a full-time 40-hour per week position and compensation is rated between $60,000 and $70,000 a year.
