Engage! Engaging across sectors

Hi there,

What does it mean to engage across sectors?

In our personal lives, when making important decisions, we often seek input from diverse perspectives. Whether we're skimming online reviews or having an in-depth conversation with a trusted friend or confidant, getting advice from trusted sources is often helpful in our decision-making.

Just like in our personal lives, collaborative efforts also benefit from more diverse engagement. As Liz Weaver puts it in her latest article, "the case for engaging across different sectors is strong." This broad engagement enhances our understanding, strengthens our ability to address challenges, and increases our potential for success.

In this month's issue of Engage!, we are sharing resources that highlight some crucial considerations as we explore and plan our cross-sector strategies. If you missed it last month, Tamarack's 2022 Annual Report also highlights many remarkable examples of cross sectoral collaboration, also available in French.
