A movement of 35+ collaboratives across 10 provinces and one US state that are advancing local climate action and equity through multi-sector partnerships and approaches that centre residents and the community. Launched in 2021, Climate Transitions helps build the capacity and skills of community changemakers –including leaders from municipalities, non-profits, community groups, businesses, and beyond– to collaborate and shift systems to achieve transformative change.

The Well-being Economies Alliance for Canada and Sovereign Indigenous Nations is an emerging network dedicated to reimagining the economy to enable systems that deliver well-being for all people and the planet.

cct membership experience

We host communities of practice (including the Climate Transition Cohort for first-year members), webinars, workshops, and other events; produce publications that share our learnings and community impact stories; and support our members with specialized coaching. We also offer members microgrants to seed and scale local projects through the CCT Innovation Fund and advance equity, diversity, inclusion, justice, and reconciliation through the Community Contributions Fund.

Communities of Practice

Our Communities of Practices (CoPs) are small, interactive groups of practitioners who connect virtually monthly or bi-monthly to share experiences, tools, ideas, and challenges to learn ways they can grow and expand their work.
