Resources to Support Your Work The Learnings of John McKnight   We have put together a compilation of learnings written by John McKnight to help you understand the Asset-Based Community Development approach with examples showing how different players can support and foster an asset approach. Check out John's Learnings on ABCD       Fostering Community through Neighbourhood Grants   As you consider whether a neighbourhood grant program is a good fit for your community and what the framework could look like in your community, we have compiled what we have learned from the City of Calgary, City of Victoria and the City of Kitchener’s grant programs. Learn to support neighbourhoods through grants       This year, our ABCD conference is back again by popular demand! Celebrating Neighbours, Measuring the Impact of ABCD is a three-day interactive learning opportunity featuring world-renowned thought leaders like Melanie Goodchild, John McKnight, Lisa Attygalle, Jim Diers, and Paul Born as well as local practitioners, that will surely inspire you! There will be 15 workshops covering topics like building a sense of community, asset mapping, conflict resolution, community from an Indigenous perspective and an experiential bus tour.     We will also be be offering four Masterclasses on ABCD, Neighbourhood Revitalization, Community Engagement, and Measuring Impact.
