In order to gather evidence about 'how' impact is happening, not just 'what' and 'why' it’s happening, evaluators are revisiting existing principles and criteria, and exploring tools that support methodology helping to redefine the ways of doing evaluation work .
This paper will help prepare the terrain for doing community-engaged evaluation work, explore transparency, learning, and consent as an integrated part of evaluation practice, and successfully engage communities in evaluation.
